New Headstones

At the 2003 Sanders family reunion Stella Mae (Saunders) Morgan suggested we take a collection to fund new headstones for Jesse and Hardy Sanders gravesites. Jesse's grave was marked with only a metal tag and Hardy's grave had been vandalized. We all agreed with this and Stella took the lead for the project. She took up a collection and had the new headstones built and set at the grave sites of Jesse and wife Sally, and Hardy and wife Sally (Sarah). Thanks to Stella for initiating and completing this project! Dedication of the Stones.
