North Carolina Third Infantry Regiment, CSA
Hardy and Sallie Sanders sons Brittian, John, Jesse, and Isham all served in the N.C. 3rd Infantry Regiment, CSA. Another son Simon served in the 48th Regiment. A cousin, Martin Brewer, also served in the 3rd Regiment.
